Despite bad weather in the capital Colombo, Buddhists belonging to all races gathered yesterday at temples to celebrate the Vap Full Moon Poya day. The picture shows two foreign tourists lighting lamps at Gangarama Temple in Colombo. Tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka for the first nine months of 2014 recorded a healthy gain of 22.4 percent year-on-year to 1.1 million. Sri Lanka targets 1.5 million tourists end of this year
