Lanka ceremonially welcomed the 100, 000th Chinese tourist to the country in 2014, at the Bandaranaike International Airport on Saturday. The two visitors, who were husband and wife, said their decision to visit Sri Lanka was mainly prompted by the recent mega bus-branding promotional campaign, carried out by Sri Lanka Tourist Promotion Bureau in Shanghai. The visitors arrived in Colombo on SriLankan Airlines Shanghai-Colombo direct flight UL-867.
