Are you ready to outwit gravity? The Red Bull Gravity Challenge is looking for a great deal of imagination to show Newton posthumously how it’s all done!
The challenge? Who can manage to drop an egg from the dizzying height of15 meters and get it to land safe, sound and unscathed? Have your brain juicesstarted flowing? If so, we want you to get to the Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct on the 25th November at 3pm – 10pm.
Theoretically, an egg falling from 15 meters has no chance of survival. But we believe that you can feint gravity and make an egg land safely to the ground. For that you have to put your imagination to work. How can you and your team release an egg from 15 meters without being damaged?
Participating in this event requires teams of 3 to draw a sketch of their egg-landing machine, with a weight of no more than 5 kilos and a size not more than 1 cubic meter and uploading it to www.redbull.com/gravitychallenge. 200 teams will be chosen to compete at the National Finals on the 25th November 2016 where they will compete for a grand prize of Rs. 250,000 as they aim to defy Newton’s law and outwit gravity.
