The country may have opened for economic reasons even though the virus has not been eliminated and there is no sign of a promising vaccine. Businesses are suffering, especially the hospitality industry which must adhere to many health regulations. Travel restrictions as well as the fact of who would want to travel add up to the hotels' industry taking a beating. Most of the people are not willing to dine in at restaurants, especially air-conditioned places which are mostly eating places. Take out seems to be the in thing to do. People who are more conscious of the virus do not go out gallivanting unnecessarily.
It is best to act wisely knowing that this virus has not been eliminated from this country and all celebrations should be put on hold for a while longer
One also notices that there are many who think the danger is over and frivolously move around having large get-togethers, refusing to behave responsibly and seemingly disregarding the fact that this virus may be around us and could spring up from anywhere. As stressed by both local and international health warnings, maintaining physical distancing, and wearing masks in public places do not seem to be the norm here.
Business will continue to suffer for some time adding more stress to the owners of any sort of establishment. Those who must use crowded public transport to travel to and from will be anxious not knowing where and when the virus will spring up.
It is best to act wisely knowing that this virus has not been eliminated from this country and all celebrations should be put on hold for a while longer.
Finally, it is up to each one of us to maintain our safety and to act accordingly.
