Laugfs bags two awards at BestWeb.lk 2015

Laugfs recently clinched two awards at BestWeb.lk 2015, the premier awards competition recognizing the best websites in Sri Lanka.
The awards included a Silver Award for the Best Website under the ‘Commercial Category’ and a Merit Award for the Best website under the ‘Corporate, Banking, Finance and Insurance Category’. “BestWeb.lk 2015”, organized by the LK Domain Registry for the sixth time, evaluates and recognizes websites based on both creativity and technical achievement as adjudged by a Panel comprising of leading industry experts.
Developed entirely by the Laugfs Corporate IT division under the guidance of Chairman W. K. H. Wegapitiya and Managing Director U. K. Thilak De Silva, the Laugfs corporate website provides a comprehensive information platform to strengthen Laugfs’ online presence.
The awards were received by the Group Chief Information Officer, Indika Gunawardena, on behalf of his team. Rajeeva George – Head of IT, Manoj Niranjan – Asst. Manager Web Development, Asitha De Costa – IT Manager Projects, Thilanka De Silva – Web Designer, Sanjeewa Madhuranga – Web Developer and Ranjula Haputantri – Senior Executive IT Projects also attended the gala awards ceremony held at the Colombo Kingsbury Hotel.
