Creative Solutions has partnered with a global leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for the hospitality industry.

With a steadfast track record in third party software development, this will be Creative Solutions’ first foray into hospitality ERP and is sure to add value to the partner company while building capacity for future hospitality solutions in Sri Lanka.

“Our new partner already has a reputed software solution that is used by international hospitality and tourism franchises but they are looking to expand it with an outsourced development team,” said Creative Solutions Technical Lead Arjuna Amarasinghe.

“Thanks to Creative Solution’s reputation, they approached us here in Sri Lanka to work on it.”
Between them, the team members at Creative Solutions have a wealth of experience. Some of the dedicated developers have worked on research and development projects, while others have previous experience working with major Scandinavian software companies.

Creative Solution’s role in this exciting new partnership will be to add value to the partner company’s well-established European research and development centre with a small, adaptable and creative software development team based in Sri Lanka.

Given Sri Lanka’s own stake in the hospitality industry, the expertise acquired by Creative Solutions through this partnership may pose a great benefit to the island’s own tourism sector.
“Currently our role is to focus exclusively on research and development, so we are not seriously looking into sales in Sri Lanka,” Amarasinghe said.

“But hospitality ERP is an interesting niche solution and there is potential here. Many other ERP systems are ‘one-size-fits all’, but this system is very targeted with specific functionality catering to the needs of the hospitality industry. I am optimistic that this solution will eventually also be offered on the local market.”
