Perfect Business Solution Services (Pvt.) Ltd (PBSS), which had won two Gold awards at the National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) for 2015, has launched 100 percent Sri Lankan made HRM and Payroll Solution for the local and international markets.
PBSS Managing Director Madura Gamanayake said that the HRM/Payroll Solution was another area catered by PBSS and it has three modules to address different market segments.
He said that it is an international stranded product and it includes time attendance, payroll and HRM with ESS and mobile access.
“Any employee can log into the system and see on the website his/her salary particulars, loan and leave balances without any problem,” he said.
He said the employees could access their salary details, leave details via any android phone. “No need to visit the HRD Department or call them. They can apply through the phone or laptop or computer,” he said.
Gamanayake addressing the media said that the products had been released to the Sri Lankan market and they also had versions in the Maldives and UAE.
PBSS already has 10 clients for the product and they are planning to move to the Dubai, Australian and Maldives markets. This product is fully integrated with Sage Evolution and SAP Business one ERPs, he said.
“This is an enterprise product; we have three layers. Small businesses have a starter version. It has basic HRM, payroll and time attendance. For the medium-sized businessmen, we have a standard version. It has some level of HRM and all payroll functions. The third layer is for big multinational companies or enterprises; it is a premium version and it has all the HRM features as well as the full payroll functions, mobile apps and SMS alerts,” he said.
Polycrome Electrical Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, which had a smaller version of HRM and Payroll Solution system, updated to the enterprise level for its product recently at a ceremony at Taj Samudra Hotel.
PBSS has been in the software market as a business solution provider for the last 14 years (since 2002). It had won two Gold awards as the best solution provider in the ICT sector and best SME company.
“To achieve the ICT Gold award in Sri Lanka, as a software business solution company, we competed with Sri Lanka and international market participants. There were 18000 SME companies in Sri Lanka. This year we are No 1,” Gamanayake said.
PBSS General Manager Anjana Wijesinghe said that they would expand their products in Sri Lanka and other countries. “Currently we have several clients in Australia and we are planning to open our branch in Australia next year,” she said.
