Leo Burnett celebrates 16 years in Sri Lanka

Leo Burnett Solutions Inc. (LBSI) the local office of the global advertising network Leo Burnett Worldwide recently celebrated its 16th anniversary in Sri Lanka. 
LBSI has grown exponentially into one of the most acclaimed and awarded advertising agencies in the country and has also successfully added several new clients to its roster. Making history for the country once again, LBSI recently won a Graphite Pencil at the D&AD (Design and Art Direction) Awards 2015. A D&AD Award is acknowledged globally as the ultimate creative accolade, and only the very best ideas from around the world receive this recognition.
The agency commemorated its anniversary with the lighting of the ceremonial oil lamp at a special gathering, which took place at the agency premises. Ranil de Silva, Managing Director, Leo Burnett (LBSI) lit the oil lamp, along with the senior management and other long-standing Burnetters. A total of 13 Burnetters were also recognized with promotions rewarding them for their hard work and performance. Thereafter, the team enjoyed a special breakfast together. 
To mark the special occasion, Leo Burnett’s 15th anniversary book was launched and showcases the agency’s best work over the years. The celebrations will continue with a variety of other fun-filled activities which will be held during the course of the week.
