Felicitating DSI Samson Group Chairman Dr. Sam Rajapaksa for his service


September 20, 2015 was indeed a day for all members of the D. Samson & Sons (Pvt.) Ltd organisation as they celebrated their annual staff felicitation ceremony at Eagle Lakeside Convention and Banquet Hall in Attidiya. 

The events of the evening were of extra importance due to D. Samson & Sons (Pvt.) Ltd Chairman Nandadasa Rajapaksa celebrating his 50th year in the service of D. Samson & Son (Pvt.) Ltd. A special song was launched in appreciation of Rajapaksa’s abilities and leadership as well as a short documentary of Rajapaksa’s life of service. 

Twenty four other members received awards in commemoration of 20 years of excellent service to the organisation. Other award categories included: Best Driver, Best Store Assistant, Best Salesman, Best Sales Representative and Best Showroom Manager.

Over 1200 staff member from all over the island took part in the celebrations together with DSI Samson Group Chairman Dr. Sam Rajapaksa, DSI Samson Group Managing Director Kulathunga Rajapaksa, D. Samson & Sons (Pvt.) Ltd Chairman Nandadasa Rajapaksa, Samson Manufactures (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Ananda Rajapaksa, D. Samson & Sons (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Thusitha Rajapaksa and the board directors of the DSI Samson group.
Singers Edward Jayakody, Nelu Adhikari, Kapila Poogodaarachchi and Ronny Leitch were featured in the evening’s entertainment along with dance acts by Channa & Upuli as well as music provided by the Gypsies.
