ACCA awards Approved Employer status to GSK Sri Lanka

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has recently awarded Glaxo SmithKline (GSK) Sri Lanka, with the Approved Employer status for Professional Development. 
GSK now joins an elite group of employers to gain access to specialized services offered by ACCA. These include services to support the recruitment, development and retention of finance professionals. This also allows GSK access to ACCA’s global conference series and research programmes on managing human capital among other training products and services.
ACCA President Datuk Alexandra Chin presented the Approved Employer certificate to GSK Director Finance Sanje Gunasekera. Also present from ACCA was Head Sri Lanka Nilusha Ranasinghe and Business Development Manager Employers Ruchera Jayawardena. 
GSK has always been recognized as a strong employer brand. This recognition further validates the company’s commitment towards institutionalizing best practices and international standards. This is also significant step towards providing continuing professional development (CDP) in accounting and finance.
Gunasekera stated, “Right talent in the right place drives organisation performance.
