HP Inc. rewarded 16 top performing HP partners with an amazing tour of Tokyo, Japan in January this year.
The winners of the HP AEC Premium Achievers Program 2016 enjoyed a 3-day tour of Tokyo, taking in the unique climate, culture, cuisine and natural beauty of Japan. Among the achievers were Abans PLC., Arc Tech Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Barclays Computers (Private) Limited., Base HP (Private) Limited, D Max Computers (Private) Limited, Last Chance Security Solutions, Metro Computer Technology, Nalin Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd., Redington Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Sampath Information Technology, Seetha Holdings (Pvt) Ltd., Sri Lanka State Trading General Corporation Ltd., The Computer City (Pvt) Ltd., Unity Systems Solutions, Virus Technologies and VS Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd.
While in Japan the Sri Lankan HP partner contingent visited Tokyo’s Meji Shrine, sailed on Lake Ashi while on a scenic tour of Hakone and also participated in a samurai boot camp. The latter was the highlight of the tour with one partner, Gehan Thangappan from The Computer City said, “The samurai training was out of this world not even in my dreams have I been a samurai warrior.” Meanwhile Naleem Farook, Managing Director of Barclays Computers shared, “Choosing Tokyo was the best decision by HP as it is the fastest growing tourist destination for year 2016 where 20 Million people visited. Mt. Fiji and Hakone day trip was the best due to the freezing weather which I experienced for the first time in my life. Enjoyed the Japanese food and sumo wrestling. It was a wonderful trip.” Many of the partners were interested in the Japanese history, culture, unique cuisine and discipline and Chathura Jayawardana, General Manager of Abans PLC. captured the whole experience succinctly as simply, “Awesome.”
