Individuals deported from Dubai
A seven-member committee comprising senior police personnel headed by the Senior DIG of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Ravi Seneviratne had been appointed by IGP Pujith Jayasundara to monitor investigations being carried out against the individuals who had been deported from Dubai to Sri Lanka, police said.
The committee comprises of DIG Ravi Seneviratne, Traffic Police DIG Ajith Rohana, Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) Director T. C. A. Dhanapala, CID Director Shani Abeysekera, Colombo Crimes Division Director, A.K.D.U. Hemantha, Colombo South Division DIG Nishantha de Soysa and Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera
