President Mahinda Rajapaksa on his way to Jaffna yesterday visited Anuradhapura to seek blessings of the historic Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. The President is expected to commission the Yarl Devi Express train service up to the Jaffna Railway Station today. The service is currently held up to Palai. The train reaches Jaffna after 24 years following the destruction of the tracks due to the war. Pic by President’s media
