Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa said yesterday his party would take over the United National Party (UNP) headquarters, Sirikotha after the general election.
“We will do so with the blessings of the people. It was UNP working committee which authorised the formation of the SJB. This is the plain truth,” he said.
Mr. Premadasa said truth won yesterday, it won today and it will win tomorrow. He said this when referring to the members of the UNP-affiliated trade union, the Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya joined the SJB on Monday and the dismissal of the petition calling for the cancellation of the SJB nomination lists.
