Vaccinating people above 60 years; Participation very marginal: Sudarshini

• It has been revealed that 249,223 people in the district  have been vaccinated so far, and it was only 40% of the seniors who are  60 years and above

 

Participation of people above 60 years of age in the  Gampaha District to get AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 was very  low, State Minister Sudarshani Fernandopulle said.   

She made these remarks at a programme held at the Gampaha District Secretariat to review the progress of COVID-19.
