Two Colombo PHIs test positive

• Eight public health promotion officers attached to CMC were tested positive last week

Two Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) attached to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) have been tested COVID-19 positive, Chief Medical Officer CMC Dr. Ruwan Wijayamuni said yesterday.  

Dr Wijayamuni said they have been sent to IDH for treatment.   
“Few close contacts of these two persons have been sent to Quarantine Centres,” he added.   
Eight public health promotion officers attached to CMC were tested positive last week.
