Senior and staunch supporters of the Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) carried the remains of their ardent leader Arumugam Thondaman to his pyre built at the Thondaman Sports Grounds in Norwood last evening amidst hundreds of mourners. Late Minister Thondaman was paid state honours.
