A seal which was marooned due to sea currents and washed ashore in Sri Lanka has become a sensation among the citizens. Many people thronged near the coast in Wellawatta yesterday to take a glimpse of the stranded mammal. The long seal was seen resting among the boulders along the Wellawatta Beach.
