A group of trade union activists gathered at Colombo Port staged a protest outside the Port entrance urging the Ports Authority to save the Eastern Container Terminal and their jobs. 23 trade unions joined the protest yesterday. Ven. Omalpe Sobitha Thera also arrived at the scene in support of the protesters.
