Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), a breakaway group of the UNP, will meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at president’s office today to discuss the crisis triggered by COVID-19.
It is reported that SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa is expected to present his views to the President on the issues faced by the people in the present crisis.
It was also reported that SJB had sought this meeting with the President.
When inquired by Daily Mirror, SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara confirmed that they would be meeting the President today.
