A man who is alleged to have robbed an amount of cash Rs.7.9 Mn that was brought to the Colombo National Hospital to pay employees their overtime dues has been arrested, Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennekoon said.
He said the stolen cash was later recovered. The suspect is alleged to removed three bags of cash at gunpoint before fleeing the crime scene.
