A ‘Pinkama’ was held on Monday (11) to invoke merit on behalf of the late relatives of the Wijewardene family and invoke blessings on them.
The event was held with the participation of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and the relatives of the Wijewardene family at Gangaramaya in Hunupitiya.
On this occasion, blessings were also invoked on the Chief Incumbent of the Gangarama Temple, Ven. Galaboda Gnanissara Thera. This ‘Pinkama’ is an annual event.
