A spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s office scotched speculation that the Secretary to the Prime Minister Gamini Senarath had been appointed as the Acting Secretary to the Ministry of Finance was a false claim.
The spokesperson also said that Secretary to the Finance Ministry, S. R. Attygalle who was on sick leave for a few days had recovered and he would report to duty from next Monday as usual.
