While congratulating President elect Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday said the decision regarding the conduct of a snap general election will be made after discussions with the Speaker and the party leaders.
“We, who welcome democracy, will discuss on holding a general elections with Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, party leaders and government parliamentary group,” the Prime Minister said in a short statement.
