Co- Cabinet Spokesman Minister Ramesh Pathirana said it was common that a mild fever, body pain and a headache could be experienced when a vaccine was administered and no one must worry about these symptoms as they go away in a few hours.

“More than 500,000 people have been given the Astra Zeneca vaccine jab to save them from Covid- 19 infections in the last few days and no one has complained up to now of any serious after-effects,” Minister Pathirana stressed.
