There is no use in queuing for petrol as stocks of fuel in hand with Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) storage facilities have run out, the Ceylon Petroleum Private Bowser Owners’ Association (CPPBOA) said.
They said there were no fuel transportation until today due to the weekend.
Nevertheless, diesel will be transported from today but not petrol, they said.
They said only 1,000MT of petrol remaining at CPC storage will be used during the emergency situation.
