There is no need to have discussions with Power Minister Gamini Lokuge, but all we need is the dollars to issue the required diesel, Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila said.
“We do not have anything left to talk about with Minister Lokuge. Three months ago, we had the necessary discussions with the Minister.
We mentioned that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) is currently issuing required fuel for industries, factories, and vehicles through rupee transactions. But we require dollars to import fuel. We are converting the rupees to dollars by making a huge effort due to the crises.
