With reference to the article titled ‘John Amaratunga will be UNP’s National List member’ published on the yesterday’s the Daily Mirror front page, the Central Media unit of the UNP issued the following statement.
“I wish to inform you that this article is incorrect as no decision has been made regarding the appointment of a member of the UNP to the National List,” the UNP Media unit said.
