Newly appointed British High Commissioner in Sri Lanka Sarah Hulton who had met Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith at the Archbishop’s house yesterday (2) had assured him that her government had not allowed any anti-Sri Lankan protests in London after the Easter Sunday bomb blast.

She had told the Archbishop that there have been no protests in London following the attacks on April 21.   A Spokesman for Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith told Daily Mirror that Ms. Hulton had informed them that Britain is fully supportive of Sri Lanka and is willing to help the families of the victims of Easter Sunday attacks.
