New Govt. will receive support of Middle Eastern countries: Envoys

Envoys of Middle Eastern countries called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday and said the new government would always receive the support and cooperation of the Middle Eastern countries.   

The President’s Media Division said the Ambassadors representing countries in the Middle Eastern Ambassadors’ Forum called on President Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat last morning.   


At the meeting, the Ambassadors affirmed their countries’ continued assistance to Sri Lanka in the economic and cultural sectors.   
The Ambassadors extended their greetings to President Rajapaksa and said they will commit to further strengthen relations between Sri Lanka and the countries they represent in every sphere.   


Ambassadors of the Palestine, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Libya and Qatar in Sri Lanka were present at the meeting.
