Fernando tweeted saying he had not received the letter of demand, but it had been shared on social media.
“According to law, a Letter of Demand has to be served on the person to whom it is sent. I am yet to receive any such LoD from Iraj Weeraratne. But social media has already circulated it. That shows the intention of those behind this episode who are focused on damaging my reputation, and my lawyers will communicate with him,” he said.
