Meeting with new President U.S. refers to good governance

U.S. Ambassador Alaina Teplitz, in her discussion with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa discussed charting a course for her country’s partnership with a sovereign, secure and prosperous Sri Lanka based on good governance that spurs economic growth and protects the rights of all Sri Lankans, a spokesman said.   

An embassy delegation called on the President last Friday.   


A spokesperson for the embassy told Daily Mirror that the ambassador discussed this with the new President.
