Mahindananda, family home quarantined

While issuing a special notice, Agriculture Minister  Mahindananda Aluthgamage said he and his family have been home quarantined  after one of his personal security men tested COVID positive.   

The Minister said his security officer tested COVID  positive last Friday (April 30). Following that a PCR test conducted on  his personal driver also came in positive. However, the Minister has tested negative.   
With the relevant health instructions of the Public Health  Inspector (PHI), the Minister and his family have been home quarantined until the PCR test reports are received, the notice said.   


The Minister requested the people who came to meet him or  his staff on April 27 to self-quarantine as well to help prevent the  virus spread. (CS)
