Former Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Mahela Jayawardane yesterday said that he will check with Thilanga Sumathipala before reacting to any comment in future.   

“I am sorry next time we will check with him before reacting and wearing the hats since he has vast experience on the subject matter,” Mahela tweeted in response to a statement made by former Sri Lanka Cricket President Thilanga Sumathipala. Earlier Mr. Sumathipala said “I don’t know why some cricketers are worried over former Sports Minister Mahindanada Aluthgamage’s claims on match fixing; if they are not involved in it, why (do) they worry.” I am sorry next time we will check with him before reacting and wearing the hats since he has vast experience on the subject matter.
