The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) yesterday issued landslide warnings to Kalutara, Kegalle and Galle Districts as rainfall within the past 24 hours exceeded 75mm.
“If rain continues, one has to be watchful on the possibility of landslides, slope failures, rockfall, cutting failures and ground subsidence,” NBRO warnings said.
