Popular artiste Jananath Warakagoda was yesterday remanded till March 18 when produced in the Mahara Magistrate’s Court in connection with a road accident which killed a 62-year-old woman at Kirillawela.
The resident of Suriyapaluwa was knocked down on the pedestrian crossing along the Kandy-Colombo Main Road at Kirillawela in Kadawatha last morning.
She died on admission to the Colombo North Teaching Hospital.
