A Sri Lankan Air Force pilot maneuvering an F-7 fighter aircraft in the skies off Union Place heading for the Independence Day air parade to be witnessed by dignitaries at Independence Square yesterday morning, is being watched by a labourer at leisure on one of the Colombo’s skyscrapers, when construction was halted for the national holiday.
