The Grade Five Scholarship Examination and the Advanced Level Examination will be held in October this year while the O/L Examination will be held from January 18 to 27 in 2021, the education ministry yesterday said.
The ministry said the grade five scholarship examination will be held on October 11 (Sunday) while A/L examination will be held from October 12 to November 06.
Accordingly, schools will be closed from October 10 to November 8.
The third school term for this year will start on November 9 and will end on December 23.The final school vacation for this year will be from December 24 till January 1, 2021.
As such, the first term for all government schools will start on January 4 next year, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, the GCE (O/L) Examination which was scheduled to be held this year will be held from January 18 to 27 in 2021.Schools will be closed during this period.
Students who are sitting for the GCE O/L Examination will be entitled for study leave from January 1 to 17, 2021, the ministry said. Schools will be reopened after the O/L Examination from February 1, 2021, it added.
