Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday directed Minister Ravi Karunanayake and his wife to make statements to the CID on July 7 at 10.00 am in connection with giving false evidence to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the bond scam.
Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne also directed Ravi Karunanayake’s daughter Onella Karunanayake to give a statement to the CID on June 20.
