Postal voters who were unable to cast their votes on the allocated dates were granted special dates on July 24 and 25 at the respective district election offices to cast their postal votes, the Elections Commission (EC) announced yesterday.
The EC said, postal voters could exercise their postal votes at the district election offices between 8.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Friday (24) and between 8.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. on Saturday (25).
Eligible voters were required to produce an acceptable document to prove their identity at the polling station.
