The Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) appointed to look into the Easter Sunday bombings will summon the police and intelligence top brass on June 4, a committee member who wished to remain anonymous said yesterday.

He said the high-ups of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the State Intelligence Service (SIS) would be summoned when the committee met again on June 4.
The committee summoned former DIG and National Intelligence Chief Sisira Mendis yesterday.

Commenting on when Minister Rishad Bathiudeen would be summoned before the committee, he said the minister and other politicians would be called for later. “Government officers will be summoned initially,” he said.
