A devotee was among the handful of worshipers who visited the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya yesterday to mark Poson Full Moon Poya Day, despite the countrywide curfew imposed on Thursday and Friday. It was on a Poson Full Moon Poya Day that Arahath Mahinda arrived in Sri Lanka to plant the seed of Buddhism.
