Sri Lankan Ambassador to China Dr. Palitha Kohona said he had been liaising closely with two Chinese vaccine producing companies – Sinopharm and Sinovac- the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Commerce Ministry for cooperation.
In a comment made to a Chinese media organisation, he said Sri Lanka is appreciative of the fact that China had made a consignment available to Sri Lanka.
“This is a global problem. We need to work together,” he said.
