When the case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Buddika Sri Ragala, the CID informed Court that the investigation into the incident had been completed and the relevant files had been referred to the AG’s Department.

The CID added that it had not received the AG’s advice yet on this matter. The Magistrate postponed the case till September 10 afterwards.
