The CWC leader and former Minister Arumugam Thondaman and representatives of his party met the Malwathu and Asgiriya chapters Chief Prelates yesterday morning.
Former Minister Thondaman and his group first visited the Chief Prelate of the Asgiriya Chapter Most Ven. Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thera and then visited the Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera, the Chief Prelate of the Malwathu Chapter.
The Central Provincial Council former Minister of Agriculture M. Ramesh and party stalwarts were also present at this occasion. A media coverage of the event was not possible as CWC leader and his delegation had not consented.
