The COVID-19 infected from Atalugama in Bandaragama, Mohamed Pakeer Mohamed Shameer who threatened and spat on the face of the PHI performing the PCR test was produced before Panadura Additional Magistrate Chandana Kalansuriya and remanded till December 18.
Sergeant 30881 Saman Edirisinghe of Bandaragama Police used SKIPE Technology to produce the suspect. He appeared before the Magistrate in the chambers and submitted the “B” report. The Magistrate who wanted more details on the arrest of the suspect in the prison vehicle parked in front of the Bandaragama Police, allowed him to use SKIPE Technology with his phone.
The infected suspect was not produced in person in Court.
