CB instructs to provide ‘uninterrupted services’

‘Meanwhile, the Central Bank in a circular yesterday instructed banks to provide uninterrupted services during COVID-19 outbreak.   


The circular said the opening of bank branches should only be limited to providing essential services such as trade financing, treasury operations, clearing activities, payment of pensions/salaries, responding to other urgent requests/inquires of customers etc.
