Former Head of Directorate of Military Intelligence Brigadier Suresh Sallay was appointed the Head of the State Intelligence Service (SIS) by the government under the restructure of key military posts. Besides, Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe has been appointed the new Army spokesman.
