A six-member committee has been appointed on a directive of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, to submit recommendations on the appointment of qualified and suitable personnel to Statutory Boards and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Presidential Media Division said.    

The committee, headed by senior public officer Sumith Abeysinghe, includes Susantha Ratnayake, Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, Dian Gomez, Dr. Prasanna Gunasena and Professor 
Jagath Wellawatte.   

The Presidential Secretariat has called for Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified professionals to be submitted by December 18, 2019.
