Angoda Lokka’s accomplice nabbed with 42kg of heroin, firearms at Ambatale

An accomplice of underworld figure ‘Angoda Lokka’ was arrested with 42 kg of heroin, three T-56 firearms, 170 rounds of ammunition and a 9mm pistol at Ambatale.  It was reported the heroin haul has a street value of more than Rs. 420 million. The heroin haul, firearms and live ammunition were found hidden in a house.  

Police said the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) arrested the suspect during the interrogation of two accomplices of the Angoda Lokka who were arrested earlier.  
Last week, the CCD arrested four gangsters including accomplices of Angoda Lokka at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) when they were attempting to flee the country for Dubai.
